About Montino Coliving
Montino is a coliving space in the pre-alpine area of Northern Italy. Positioned in the beautiful mountains overlooking Lago Maggiore, Montino is surrounded by raw nature and amazing views.
A comfortable space for digital nomads and remote workers looking to live and work in a serene, natural atmosphere.
We offer comfortable working spaces, plenty of common areas, a beautiful garden, and community-driven activities.

About the owners
Montino was started in the summer of 2024 by Oren Chazan, Talya Stern, Danit Chazan and Guy Benron. Their search took two years and came close in Portugal, then in Spain, before they found a small family-run hotel above Lago Maggiore with a yellow exterior, a red roof and green windows. Antonio and Géraldine handed it over as it stood, professional restaurant kitchen and Italian espresso machine included, and stayed on to teach them the house, the area and Italian bureaucracy.
Oren ran a marketing and business consultancy while travelling without a base for years, and came to Montino wanting a slow, natural place where ideas and skills get passed around by the fire, over coffee or at dinner. Talya has been a digital nomad since 2020, when she joined a coliving for a few days and stayed seven months as its community manager; the house was found while she was recovering from a serious road accident in Thailand, and she now spends much of her time here with the community. Danit has worked in hospitality for over twelve years and does the part she has always liked best, making people feel welcome. Guy moved country every couple of years as a child, and the coliving idea clicked for him in 2023, before he had ever set foot in one.
They believe connections are best brewed slowly, over shared space and time.
