About the owners
Tursi Digital Nomads is run by Salvatore and Maria, who host every stay in person. What started as a project to bring life back to Italy's small villages is now an international community that returns to Basilicata year after year. When you book a coliving in Matera with us, you're welcomed by the people who built it, not a front desk.

- The coworking space is open Monday-Friday from 09:00-18:00.
- How do I do groceries?
- Grocery stores are within walking distance from all the apartments.
- What is the policy on pets? Are there any restrictions, fees or rules?
- We're sorry but pets are not allowed on this chapter due to house regulations.
- How do I get there?
- Fly into Bari (BRI) — the easiest airport, ~45 min from Matera. Then take a Flixbus from Bari Airport to Matera Centrale - we will pick you up from the bus station.

- Why did you decide to open?
- Our organization was born from a simple idea: to bring together digital nomads from all over the world in small, historic villages. We create communities of digital nomads in villages to contribute to a 360° regeneration of the places and to offer our clients a unique, community-focused “workation” experience. We also expand our vision through digital nomads Greece initiatives and unique coworking space Italy experiences.

- Our community management is high-touch, curated, locally embedded community building rather than simply “hosting a group of digital nomads.” It expands in five pillars: 1. We curate the people before they arrive 2. We start creating relationships before the physical gathering. 3. We combine structured interaction (eg., workshops, cooking experiences, hikes) with unstructured interaction (eg., shared meals, spontaneous plans). 4, We deliberately connect the community with the locals. 5.
