Borgo di Capannole is a 13th-century hamlet in the countryside between Siena and Arezzo, with apartments, gardens, creative spaces and plenty of room to work or simply enjoy life.
We're bringing people together for longer stays, sharing spaces, ideas and everyday moments.
Work on your own, cook together, spend an afternoon in the garden, read by the fireplace or start something new with the people around you.
There's room for community, and room for yourself.
About the owners
We are Stefan and Roi, two creatives who saw the potential of Borgo di Capannole as a place for people to meet, exchange ideas and connect internationally.
Our lives and work move between music, education, art and life close to nature. Our interests range from permaculture and sustainable living to music, visual arts, theatre and creative education.
We live at the Borgo with our family and enjoy bringing together people with different backgrounds, interests and experiences. For us, coliving is a natural extension of this: a place to stay, work, create, exchange ideas and share everyday life in Tuscany.

Why did you decide to open?
We are two creatives with backgrounds and interests ranging from music, education and the arts to permaculture and life close to nature.
We saw the potential of the Borgo as a place for people from different countries and backgrounds to meet, work, create and exchange ideas. Coliving felt like a natural way to develop that idea and keep the Borgo active throughout the year.
How do you manage the community?
Informally.
We don't have a fixed programme of compulsory activities. People should be able to have their own rhythm and privacy, while having plenty of opportunities to meet and do things together.
We cook, have a coffee, make a fire, go somewhere, work alongside each other or organise an activity when someone has an idea.
Before confirming a stay, we like to have a short chat. Keeping a good mix of people is more important to us than simply filling every room.
