About Masseria Olga Rural Coliving
Masseria Olga is a new coliving located in the heart of the amazing region of Puglia. Here you will be immersed in the culture of Southern Italy, characterised by slow life, high quality local food, beach, and much more. The coliving is hosted in a “Masseria”, a traditional farmhouse typical of Puglia, surrounded by wheat fields, olive trees and dry stone walls. The coliving is located within the towns of Putignano, Sammichele di Bari, and Turi. Putignano is about 10 minutes away by car and here you will find all the basic services you might need during your stay (supermarkets, pharmacies, shops, hospital, bars & restaurants, etc). If you arrive at Bari Airport, you can easily reach Masseria Olga by train: you will have to take a train from Bari Airport to Bari Central Station (about ‘30) and then take a train or bus to Putignano (about 1h).
About the Space
The Coliving encompasses 5 bedrooms and can host up to 10 people at the same time. There are options for a private room with an ensuite bathroom, a private room with a shared bathroom, and a bed in a double room with a shared bathroom. Common spaces include a furnished kitchen with a dining room, a spacious living room with pool table, board games and some coworking stations, two additional coworking/meeting rooms. Moreover, we have a laboratory for DIY with some basic equipment at your disposal. Finally, the place is completely immersed in nature and there is plenty of outdoor space at your disposal.
About Olga’s Community
Masseria Olga is the first Rural Coliving in Puglia and we want to build its community together with the first guests! We believe that colivers are central in our project and we want you to help us shape this place and to give your contribution to improve spaces, services, and offering. We want international digital nomads and remote workers to find their home in Southern Italy, to live like a local for some weeks, to explore Puglia and its gems, to take care of the place and the people who live it.
About the Hosts
Francesco (25) is originally from Puglia, and he was born and raised in Putignano. He left his beloved hometown in 2017 to study in Milan and, after finishing University and after some work experience, he decided to come back and start this new exciting project in the old Masseria of his family. Olga, in fact, is the name of Francesco’s grandmother which was raised in this old manor and who represents the identity of this place: a familiar environment where everyone can feel at home, as it would be in the house of an Italian "nonna"!
Sabrina (24) is Francesco’s girlfriend. She was born and raised in San Juan, Argentina, and she moved to Italy in 2021 to study Management Engineering in Milan, where she met Francesco. Sabrina works in a consultancy company and, given the possibility to work remotely, she decided to leave Milan and become a digital nomad herself in November 2023.

We’re a young international couple who share a passion for good food and slow travel. We’re working to build a community around a place that feels like home to us, and we hope it will become a home for other travellers who share similar passions and interests!
Ciao! I am Francesco and I was born and raised in Putignano, Puglia. I left my hometown in 2017 to study in Milan and, after some work experience in the innovation sector, I have decided to come back and start this new exciting project in the old Masseria of my family. I am Italian and of course I can cook Pizza and Pasta 🍝
Hola! My name is Sabrina and I am from San Juan, Argentina. I moved to Milan for the university and, after finishing, I started working in a consultancy company. This gives me the flexibility to work remotely, so I decided to become a part-time nomad myself. The first question I will ask you will be: have you ever tried mate? 🧉

- How do I do groceries?
- If you don't have a car, we will take you to the town for grocery at least once per week. In case of shared meals, the one who will pay grocery shopping will put the amount on the app "Splitwise" to share it with the other people in the community.
- What are the coworking opening hours?
- The coworking are will be open 24h/24
- What is the policy on pets? Are there any restrictions, fees or rules?

- How do I get there?
- f you arrive at Bari Airport, you can easily reach Masseria Olga by train: you will have to take a train from Bari Airport to Bari Central Station (about ‘30) and then take a train or bus to Putignano (about 1h). We will pick you up at the train station and give you a ride to the coliving.
- What is included?
- Accomodation (depending on your choice), towels, bed sheets, room cleaning once per week, access to the coworking space with internet connection, access to equipped kitchen with basics for cooking. On the other side, there is the continuous assistance of volunteers as community facilitators. Some of the organised activities, workshop, etc are included while any other additional activity is excluded (e.g. transportation, wine tasting,...)
- Why did you decide to open?
- Because we wanted to give life again to our family's old "Masseria" and we were thrilled to host nomads and remote workers from all over the world and build new friendships
- How do you manage the community?
- We try to organise the community in a mixed way. On one side, we organise some regular activities and dinners where everyone is invited to join. On the other side, we leave freedom to people to organise additional activities themselves. To facilitate the community, we have volunteers as community facilitators and we organise a weekly meeting together with the community to organise the activities of the week.
