About Hamlet's Friends
Welcome to Hamlet's Friends!
Our project is based in Nuño Gómez (Toledo), Spain, which is an hour south-west of Madrid by car. Nuño Gómez is situated on the slope of a mountain, at the foot of the Sierra de San Vincente and provides amenities like a health center, padel court, our restaurant, grocery store, football field, public swimming pool (in summer), pharmacy, a co-working space, cultural center, marketplace, and a church.
You can enjoy benefits like relaxation in nature, enjoying city-like amenities without the hassles of city living, and becoming part of a great community. Plenty of activities are available, such as hiking, yoga, stargazing, working in co-working spaces, partying, picnicking, mountain biking, outdoor dining, attending seminars and lectures, exploring, cooking, gardening, swimming in lakes, enjoying Spanish cuisine, reading or sleeping in hammocks, playing table tennis, watching movies in the open-air cinema, participating in art courses, village bingo, archery, viewing art exhibitions, bird-watching, playing table football and board games, engaging in various sports, and singing karaoke.
The weather is consistently sunny and pleasant, and the location is near an airport and the larger town of Talavera de la Reina, which provides further amenities.
About the owners
We are 4 friends from Madrid and Berlin who decided to build a place in the countryside that makes all of our Mondays great again. We are city people trying to unite both world the best way possible. We are around sind summer 2024 and have made many friends with a similar vision. Looking forward to meeting you, too!

I stayed in a cabana for 2.5 months and worked at the coworking space next to the cows. I’m really thrilled with the location, the amazing view from the cabana, the great hiking trails nearby, and the wonderful chance to slow down from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Martha and Niko do a fantastic job, and they felt more like friends.
I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

- How do I do groceries?
- There is a small shop in the village for the basics. And supermarkets in the next town, where we share rides with everybody interested.
- What are the coworking opening hours?
- Open from 9am to 8pm. But we are flexible. Happy to discuss ;)
- What is the policy on pets? Are there any restrictions, fees or rules?
- We are pet-friendly as long as the pets are friendly. We love pets and they tend to love us back. They are allowed everywhere, including in the co-working space. We charge a small fee for extra cleaning of 15€.
- How do I get there?
- Thats easy. There is a direct bus from Madrid city center into the village, but we are happy to discuss/share further options upon request ;)
- What is included?
- The co-living aspect consists of five small, cozy wooden houses and five small rooms, both types of accommodations having necessary amenities like internet access, air conditioners, and kitchens or kitchenettes in the case of the wooden houses. The co-working space is housed in a revived golf clubhouse, offering amenities like tables, meeting rooms, an outdoor area, fast internet, a great view, as well as a coffee-bar. Its use is free for the first guest in the cabin/room and a 50% discount applies to all additional guests. The shared community area includes BBQ areas, a small veggie garden, hammocks everywhere, plenty of nature, and various spots for relaxation, work, and networking, including a shared kitchen.
- Why did you decide to open?
- We were looking to build something better than the usual. We trusted in our vision and in the benefits of a calm village to provide everything we needed to implement that vision, which we love to share with everybody. Colaboration is key in this context. Everybody is good at something and everybody is invited to colaborate ;)
- How do you manage the community?
- We believe in flexibility, colaboration, individual creativity, and personal initiatives. We offer the kitchen, you make the pasta!
