About the owners
Hola!! I am Maria cactus founder! After working in the travel industry, I created Cactus to offer a more human way of living and working abroad, combining community, local culture and meaningful connections. Today, i runs several coliving spaces across the Canary Islands and i passionate about creating places where remote workers can truly feel at home.

- How do I do groceries?
- Supermarkets, local shops and the Adeje farmers’ market are all within walking distance, so you can easily do your groceries without a car.
- What are the coworking opening hours?
- You will have a private workstation and monitor in your room and also some working spaces around the house. You also have access to our partner coworking nearby and to the coworking spaces at Cactus Valle.
- What is the policy on pets? Are there any restrictions, fees or rules?
- Dogs are welcome with prior approval and subject to availability. We limit to one pet in the house and require a €200 refundable deposit at check-in. Also there will be an extra monthly cleaning fee of 50€ as having an animal will require more hours of cleaning from the team.
- How do I get there?
- Cactus Adeje is in the historic centre of Adeje, around 20 minutes by car or taxi from Tenerife South Airport
- What is included?
- Your furnished room, private workstation and monitor, high-speed Wi-Fi, weekly cleaning, towels and bed linen, weekly yoga, community activities and coworking access in our coliving in Valle are included.
- Why did you decide to open?
- We created Cactus Adeje after seeing that many remote workers wanted to stay longer or even move to the island and build deeper connections. With only 5 rooms and a 2-month minimum stay, it feels more like a shared home than temporary accommodation.
- How do you manage the community?
- We have a dedicated community manager for both coliving spaces in Tenerife (Valle & Adeje) who helps connect colivers and organises activities, yoga and shared plans. We also use a WhatsApp group so everyone can easily stay connected and suggest activities.
