About Bencomo Coliving
Bencomo Coliving is a small, community-focused coliving in the north of Tenerife, created by two local siblings who wanted to share the island they grew up in.
Located in Santa Úrsula, Bencomo combines peaceful surroundings, beautiful views and a more authentic side of Tenerife with everything remote workers need for a comfortable stay.
You’ll find private rooms, welcoming shared spaces, a dedicated coworking area with fast fibre internet, outdoor spaces and an international community where it’s easy to meet people and feel at home.
What makes Bencomo special is the experience beyond the house. We love bringing people together through shared dinners, hikes, nature activities and little adventures around the island, while helping our guests discover local places, restaurants and businesses they might not find on their own.
It’s ideal for digital nomads, remote workers and professionals looking for more than just accommodation.

About the owners
We’re Ana and Adrián, two siblings born and raised in Tenerife, and the people behind Bencomo Coliving.
We created Bencomo because we wanted to share our island in the same way we experience it ourselves. We love Tenerife, its nature, its culture, its traditions and all the small local places that make it special.
We really enjoy cooking, sharing meals, talking about the island, telling stories about our culture and showing guests the places we’ve known for years. We also love hiking, sports, travelling and simply spending time with people from different backgrounds.
For us, one of the best parts of Bencomo is seeing how people arrive as strangers and slowly become part of the house and the community.
We want everyone who stays with us to feel comfortable, feel welcome and discover a more local side of Tenerife, not just the tourist one.
Bencomo is our way of sharing a little piece of home with people from all over the world. 🌿🌊☀️

- How do I do groceries?
- The best way to do groceries is to have a car, so you can quickly reach the center of Santa Úrsula. There, you can shop at Hiperdino, Mercadona, Lidl, or visit local stores.
- What are the coworking opening hours?
- The coworking is open 24 hours.
- What is the policy on pets? Are there any restrictions, fees or rules?
- We’re sorry, but pets are not allowed in the house. We do have some house rules to ensure everyone enjoys their stay. When you arrive, we ask for a €200 security deposit in cash and signing of the rental contract. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you! 🌿✨
- How do I get there?
- From TFS (Tenerife South Airport): The best option to reach the house is to rent a car, so you can move around the island easily. But if that’s not possible, you can take the bus (guagua) — line 112. From Santa Cruz de Tenerife bus station, you have a few options: Take bus 102, get off at La Quinta, and then take a taxi. Or take bus 108, get off at La Orotava bus station — there’s a taxi rank right there. If you’re coming from TFN (Tenerife North Airport): You can take bus 30 to Cruce de La Matanza, then bus 101 to Cuesta La Villa, and from there either walk up or take a taxi or rental car. Alternatively, take bus 30 to La Quinta, and then grab a taxi from there. - Why did you decide to open?
- We decided to open Bencomo Coliving because we wanted to create a type of tourism that truly contributes to the island. We love Tenerife and believe visitors should experience it in a way that supports local businesses, respects the culture, and connects with the community. Our goal is to offer a space where travelers and digital nomads can enjoy the island authentically while leaving a positive impact on the people and places they visit.
- How do you manage the community?
- We’re always attentive to our guests and their needs, making sure everyone feels comfortable and at home. We adapt to different preferences and interests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We also organize a variety of activities to bring people together, such as shared meals, cultural experiences, hiking trips, and other social events. Our goal is to help guests connect, have fun, and enjoy Tenerife both as a community and individually.
