About the owners
Oscar, a native of Cantabria, and Lulu, originally from Colombia, are a couple who have embraced rural living for over ten years. After spending 15 years exploring the world – England, the United States, Germany, India, Ghana, Switzerland, Canada and Colombia – they returned to Cantabria. As a family, they cherish their life in the countryside, raising their daughter Lucía amidst the beauty of the Valles Pasiegos. Their passion for nature and community extends to their role as your hosts.

- How do I do groceries?
- Every week different vans come to the Village with bread, meat, fish, vegetables and other essential products. In addition, you can find a store at a gas station 5m walking from the Village. Additionally, the hosts or other members of the community can take you to the next Village that is 10m away by car to make your purchase.
- What are the coworking opening hours?
- The coworking space is open 24 hours with high-speed internet access. Each cabin also has a table in the dining room and a covered porch where you can telework, as well as charming corners in the green areas for that purpose.
- What is the policy on pets? Are there any restrictions, fees or rules?
- Pets are not allowed, sorry
- How do I get there?
- The coworking is located 40m from Santander airport and 1.15h from Bilbao airport. From both airports you can take a bus to the Santander bus station and from there a bus to Villegar de Toranzo. By car you can get there on the N623 towards Burgos-Santander.
- What is included?
- We include accommodation in a single or shared room, with access to common spaces in a 50 square meter wooden cabin, which includes a bathroom, kitchen-dining room and covered porch, as well as a garden in front of the cabin. You can also use the different green areas surrounded by fruit trees and orchards, and the coworking space with high-speed internet.
- Why did you decide to open?
- We decided to open the space to accelerate the impact economy in Cantabria and turn it into a life laboratory, where we can explore other ways of living and relating. We carry out experiments of kindness and generosity with different groups and communities to work for the common good and generate a triple impact. We also want to generate income to finance cooperation projects in Ghana with our NGO. PAS Rural Coliving is the local headquarters in Spain of a global community of our social business school, where we develop changemakers. Every year we hold the annual summit, a community meeting during a weekend full of magic.
- How do you manage the community?
- As a family, spending time talking and having coffee, getting to know and opening our network of contacts to members of the community, creating healthy rituals and routines, and above all, serving people.
