Feeling seen by the community: Mapmelon nominated for Best Nomad Companion 🌍🍉

Big news for us at Mapmelon 🍉✨

We’ve been nominated for Best Nomad Companion at the first-ever Nomad Retreats Awards, and this one really means a lot.

Mapmelon started as a simple idea: make it easier for remote workers and digital nomads to find real coliving communities, not just places to sleep. Less hype, more people. Less scrolling, more belonging.

Over time, it’s grown into a platform shaped by the community itself. Colivings, colivers, retreat hosts, and organizers all trying to build something more human in a very online world.

Being nominated alongside projects that care about connection, intention, and community feels like a full-circle moment.

Huge thanks to the Nomad Retreats team for the recognition 💛
And to everyone who’s used Mapmelon, shared feedback, complained (yes, that too), or helped us improve along the way, this is yours as much as ours.
