That also means we are gearing up to season 3 of our Life at Selgars seasonal coliving!
Every year since January 2023, we open our home for several months of coliving.
We started with 2 and are now extending to 6 months of shared living.
My husband and I (Anton) met in a residential Coliving seven years ago, where our dream of opening our own one day crystallised.
It took a while, but today, we are so lucky to be able to call Selgars Home. It would be selfish to keep such a beautiful space all to ourselves.
We have 12 bedrooms between 3 buildings, all 3 seconds walking distance from each other.
Most of the rooms are in the main Mill building, where we spend most of our time as a community playing board games, eating shared dinners, hosting mastermind workshops, and Sense & Sensibility marathons.
Yes, it is the UK, and yes, it is during the colder months. We are not afraid of that. We love slowing down and watching the seasons pass. Coliving in winter is a beautiful way to end and start the year.
We love everything cosy but we also enjoy the outdoors. We have 4 acres of land, a veg garden that needs prepping for the spring and a few sheep, cows and goats not too far in the village.
If it gets too cold we add blankets, hot water bottles and make a fire. So far 100% of our guests have survived.
