So, let me tell you about my time living in Taykoyuko, a spot in the suburbs of Kyoto. It had two shared apartments and a coworking space where a lively nomad community gathered.
But you know what? The real star of the show was @@kazuma, our host. He was the one who made our stay special 🥰
Now, the best part was the weekly cooking sessions he organized. We had a blast exploring Japanese cuisine together. In week one, we tackled takoyaki like pros and whipped up around 40 of those octopus-filled goodies with @@kazuma and @@mike. They were delicious!
Then things got interesting in week two when we decided to go wild with gyozas and made dessert gyozas, stuffed with chocolate. Talk about a mind-blowing flavor combo! 🤩
The third week. @@kazuma introduced us to chirashi-zushi, a kind of rice with salmon and omelette. As a thank-you, we shared our Spanish culinary skills by whipping up a delicious Spanish omelette. Kazu's reaction? Pure joy.
Those cooking adventures brought us together, filled with laughter and good times. We learned about Japanese food, and bonded over delicious bites 🍚
