About Pyren'Escape
First rural coliving in the middle of Pyrenees, south of France, our family place is a gorgeous place with an incredible view. Ready to host 12 to 15 colivers, in shared or private rooms, studios, and one apartment for families or a bunch of friends, with a 50m2 coworking room, and so so much to enjoy in the surroundings. We live on the spot and are always ready to share happy moments and great activities.

Easily the best coliving experience I've had. Vincent and Clairie have created a unique experience steeped in the local community. Lots of outdoor activities (hikes, watersports, local markets, community events) and picturesque locales. Unbeatable.

I was lucky to be hosted in this atypical coliving.
The house is located in the mountains with a beautiful view, perfect to work and reconnect with nature. The family who runs this space is so human and friendly, it changes everything. With their presence, the house is much more than a coliving, it's quite a family.
I spent two weeks there and I hope I would be back later because the experience was amazing with others colivers and also with all the activities we could have in nature (hiking, rafting, mountain bike, paragliding...).

I've stayed at Pyren'Escape for a month, and this place is a hidden gem in a beautiful valley in the French Pyrenees (they have just opened this year and the place will definitely not stay hidden for long, so hurry up before it's fully booked 😉)
The co-living space has everything you need for a productive and enjoyable stay: high speed internet, spacious co-working and a beautiful garden with a view over the mountains. Vincent who runs the place has an inspiring vision of the community he'd like to build and he will make you feel at home with his good humour and hospitality ❤️
There are loads of activities within easy reach: hiking, mountain biking, rafting, paragliding, so one month definitely felt like not enough 🥲

- How do I do groceries?
- Many ways: - two supermarkets in the surrounding. You can go by car (5'), by bike (15') by paths and small roads (We lend you bicycles), or using some seats of our cars when we go there (usually two or three times a week. you can also order a drive and be delivered with additional fees. - You can order an organic vegetable basket every sunday to our neighbor Pierrot. - You can join us every thursday morning to the main local market we're you'll find delicious products. We also go to another local market on saturday just before hiking and buy picnics - It's possible to order different dishes and some could be delivered at home. - we also have two nice places for lunch, very cheap. One at two hundred meters from home, and the other one a little bit further.
- What are the coworking opening hours?
- Coworking space is open 24/24. According to everyone in advance, it could be used for yoga session or evening games or movie night. Priority is always give to coworking, but we also have a second lounge to work, and desk with connexion in any room.
- What is the policy on pets? Are there any restrictions, fees or rules?
- We love pets and accept them only in studios. But you have to know few things before: - they are not allowed in the main house where the coworking is. - 75% of the hiking are in protected areas where dogs are not allowed or must be kept on a leash. - 75% of activities are not possible with dogs (ski, canyoning, rafting, paragliding, climbing, even cycling) - Your dog cannot be left unattended because of all the herds around. The farmers are particularly vigilant about stray dogs and we have already had some problems For these reasons, you can't leave your companion free if you move for the day.
- How do I get there?
- - Car is perfect if you want to keep your independence. Just look for Pyren'Escape on google map and follow the instructions. We have parking on site. - By train, the nearest railways station is Lannemezan, where you'll find connected buses to reach our village in 40'. (9 during the week, 3 on week end) Take the Saint-Lary direction, stop at Guchan (just after Guchen, don't be mistaken!) We'll pick you up at the bus stop, 5' walking from home. The main railways stations are Tarbes, Pau and Toulouse where you'll find direct train to Lannemezan in 1h. - By bus, you'll find night buses from almost every country in Europe to reach Toulouse. The main compagnies are Flixbus and Blablacarbus - By plane, the nearest airport is Tarbes/Lourdes (from France, England, Ireland, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Malte), then Pau (from France, Portugal, Madere) and the international one is Toulouse. - By carpooling, with BlaBlaCar, from everywhere in France, but also from Barcelone, Madrid or Lisbonne. - By bike, the steepest climb will be the last one, but you will be offered a good beer on arrival.
- What is included?
- First, sight and good moon. But also, sheets, towel, weekly room cleaning, cleaning of common areas three times a week, laundry with soap (twice a week, extra fees beyond), 5 free bikes, potluck diner every week, family dinner 3/4 times a week, coffee and tea, movie night and evening games, evening outing, outdoor hiking, preferential rates for outdoor activities, participation or organization of events and workshops, media library, outdoor and indoor games, tennis table, gym, Qi Gong and Tai chi practice by Vincent, the owner and community manager.
- Why did you decide to open?
- First of all, we want to meet people on a long time and share our incredible country. Second, we want to mix foreigners with good moon, with all the nice people who live around. Third, we want to be a place for creation of projects and mutual aid between different skills. Our vision: create a bridge between locals and colivers. "Come as a guest, leave as a friend"
