Are you passionate about creating memorable experiences and making people feel at home? Sun and Co., one of Europe’s first coliving and coworking spaces, located in the historic center of Jávea, is looking for a dedicated host. Over the past nine years, we have welcomed more than 700 professionals from over 50 countries. Now, we need someone to be the heart of our community.
Your Role
As a host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported throughout their stay. Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming Guests: Introduce new arrivals to the house, explain how everything works, and help them connect with other guests.
Guest Support: Anticipate and respond to guests' needs during their stay.
Event Facilitation: Help organize and guide both professional and social events, making sure they run smoothly.
Local Ambassador: Share your love for Jávea and the Marina Alta, helping guests discover and appreciate the local culture.
House Maintenance: Assist with maintaining the house, from organizing common areas to addressing any issues that arise.
Team Support: Collaborate with the rest of the team on various tasks and projects.
Communication: Handle emails and messages as needed.
One of the biggest perks of this role is the connections you’ll make with our guests, both personally and professionally. Our clientele, aged 23-40, is a vibrant mix of entrepreneurs and professionals from around the world, creating a dynamic and inspiring environment.
Our Team
You’ll join a small, young, and international team, working closely with two permanent members (including yourself) and one or two additional helpers from the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs project. We’re passionate about what we do and love creating a joyful, learning-rich environment.
About You
To thrive in this position, you should:

Enjoy organizing activities and motivating others.
Find satisfaction in helping others and seeing them happy.

Have an intermediate to high level of English to communicate effectively with guests.
Be a team player who knows how to ask for and offer help.
Bonus Points
While not essential, it’s beneficial if you:
Are local to Jávea or have lived there for several years and know the area well.
Have group facilitation skills.
Have skills or interest in sales and/or marketing.
Job Details
Hours: 20 hours per week, in 4-hour shifts.
Schedule: Typically Tuesday to Saturday, 3 PM to 7 PM (negotiable).
Contract: Fixed discontinuous from September to June, with potential summer work at our hostel.
Start Date: September 1, 2024.
Requirements: Must have the right to work and reside in Spain.
