About Us:
Zen Den Coliving is a new Coliving Space in Arona, Tenerife Sur. The Coliving is the next step in the growth of our brand, having formalised the Community for the South of the island and opening Zen Den Coworking. Which is now the highest rated Coworking on the entire island. Our focus has always been community first, providing a safe, social and integrated environment for all remote workers on the island. The Coliving will be no different and will have a strong focus on not only building a family vibe but also bridging the gap between Remote Workers and the local population.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a vibrant and proactive Community Manager with a little bit of something special to join our team. This person will oversee the daily operations at Zen Den Coliving and be the face of the project. Being the leader that ensures the smooth running of the space and fostering a sense of community among residents. The role includes managing volunteers, creating schedules, running events, and handling operational tasks like ensuring breakfast is served, check-ins/outs and any questions and issues that come up with the guests. We would love the experience as a Community Manager in the past, but we are open to people who want to step up and have the right skill set that includes a bubbly and social personality, however able to be stern and set boundaries when needed. Someone who thrives on taking on the role and running with it.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of Zen Den Coliving, including handling volunteers and creating task schedules via Trello.
Plan and execute weekly events for colivers such as dinners, workshops, and community activities. Hosting a Family Dinner and Meeting every week to take feedback from Colivers and implement in the week ahead.
Oversee stock management, food ordering for breakfast, family dinners, coffee etc, and breakfast preparation.
Maintain and engage the community through chat groups, ensuring all residents feel connected and heard.
Assist with content creation to promote all Zen Dens ventures across platforms.
Represent Zen Den’s values by providing a welcoming and supportive environment.
Earn a 10% commission for any new clients you bring to the space.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week, however flexible to work your own schedule as long as all tasks are managed.
Available for the whole of December, February, two weeks in March, and April.
Flexibility to work on your own projects during the day while maintaining responsibilities. With the use of both Coworking Spaces included.
Skill Requirements: Near-native English proficiency and advanced Spanish skills (Spanish not required but preferable).
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication abilities.
Experience in hospitality, event management, or community building is a plus.
Familiarity with tools like Trello for task management.
A passion for creating social, inclusive environments.
Flexibility to work on your own projects during the day while maintaining responsibilities.
A firm but fair approach to leadership, able to set boundaries, handle disputes and use communication to create positive outcomes.
With an entrepreneurial mindset, we have big plans, so this role could lead to a larger one within the brand and more opportunities as it grows.
