I spent 2 weeks at PyrenâEscape in July 2023.
I wanted to go to the mountains to escape Montpellierâs summer heat and thatâs exactly what I got and more.
What I loved at PyrenâEscape is the feeling of being surrounded with nature. đł From the terrace, you can see the mountains and the valley, which means you can work with that view in front of you. đ
There are a few other outdoor spaces in the coliving where you can work under the trees and get a great view. I loved to have all those different places so I could vary and get inspired.

I also loved that I could volunteer at the neighbourâs big garden, to have a break from work putting my hands in the dirt and learning how to grow/cut/harvest vegetables.
Vincent (the colivingâs manager) is also full of ideas of things we can do to help take care of the colivingâs garden or even build things if we want to. Thatâs something Iâm not able to do in my city apartment so it felt great to have a chance to do it here.

I also liked that the indoor coworking space had appropriate chairs and tables to work well, was quiet (thatâs one of the rules), with good Wifi, as well as lots of space on the banquette to work in a more comfy way.
Finally, Iâd say that this coliving has a soul. Because it was created by a family, it felt familiar, like home, with a very friendly atmosphere. I liked the (international) people I met there, as well as the familyâs involvment to help us have a great time, and to show us good hikes and other cool things to do around.
Because it felt like home, I believe I will definitely come back ! đ
P.S : I had the chance to stay at the « Studio Terrasse », which I absolutely recommend. I liked the space, the decoration, having my own bathroom (and soon, kitchen, I heard), private terrace, and space to hang my laundry. Itâs located under the living room and it felt cosy and quiet.
