Thomas and Stefan Seiger created LIBRAlab to solve a problem they experienced firsthand: the isolation of remote AI work. With backgrounds spanning technology, real estate, and community building, they've designed a space where innovation happens through in-person connection rather than isolation. Their vision combines cutting-edge technology with the inspiring environment of the Tyrolean Alps.

- How do I do groceries?
- LIBRAlab offers an internal bio-foodbank with an innovative token system. There's also a farm shop with fresh local products just around the corner. For larger shopping trips, the town center with supermarkets is accessible via bus (40 min) or bicycle (30 min).
- What are the coworking opening hours?
- The coworking space fully equipped workstation with an UltraWide monitors is available 24/7 for residents. Each single private room also includes an standing desk setup.
- What is the policy on pets? Are there any restrictions, fees or rules?
- Currently, we do not accommodate pets at LIBRAlab as we're focused on creating an allergen-free environment for all residents.
- How do I get there?
- LIBRAlab is located in Omes, Tirol, approximately 30 minutes by bicycle or 40 minutes by bus from Innsbruck. Detailed directions and transportation options will be provided after booking.
- What is included?
- Your stay includes a private room with premium new furnishings, dedicated workstation and Starlink high-speed internet, access to all community spaces, participation in weekly events and workshops, and use of the shared kitchen and bio-foodbank system.
- Why did you decide to open?
- We created LIBRAlab to solve the isolation problem that remote AI specialists face. From personal experience, we realized that while remote work offers freedom, it often lacks the spontaneous collaboration where breakthrough innovations happen. LIBRAlab combines the flexibility of remote work with the magic of in-person connections in an inspiring Alpine setting.
- How do you manage the community?
- Our community is managed through a combination of curated selection, regular events, and a DAO-based governance model through Colony.io. We focus on bringing together professionals with complementary skills and shared values around collaboration, innovation, and work-life integration. Regular community activities include meals, workshops, outdoor adventures, and spontaneous collaboration sessions.
