Location: Valencia (must live in Valencia and be registered to declare taxes locally)
About the role: Join Folks Coliving as a Community Manager for a mid‑term freelance contract starting mid‑July / August. You’ll build and maintain a warm, active coliving community, run seasonal programming (San Juan, summer activities) and support residents during key local events like Fallas.
Responsibilities:
Engage with residents to foster community and a welcoming home environment
Plan and run events, workshops, and seasonal activities (beach meetups, rooftop parties, paella nights, San Juan)
Coordinate logistics for group outings to local festivals (Fallas, Nit de Sant Joan) and day‑to‑day resident needs
Manage communication channels and respond to resident inquiries
Build partnerships with local businesses and providers
Create and maintain community guidelines and safety procedures
Handle basic administrative tasks related to resident stays and event bookings
Requirements:
Freelancer / self‑employed status; must live in Valencia and declare taxes in Spain
Available to start mid‑July to August for a mid‑term contract
Experience in community management, hospitality, events, or related roles
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent English; Spanish proficiency is a strong advantage
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
