What is ecoisleta?
Ecoisleta is an eco coliving in the neighborhood of La Isleta in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. The accommodation is a beautifully restored traditional Canarian house that is over 120 years old. Their objective is to preserve and value these historic houses, which represent an essential heritage of the city π .
Regenerative workation week goal
This is a week to slow down, work and live more sustainably, to reconnect with nature and to contribute to the local community. The goal is to inspire nomads, learn more about sustainability and how to travel with good impact, give back to the local community, collaborate, get support to explore new business or work ideas, and much moreβ¦ π±
How does the schedule look like?
π The schedule includes mindfulness activities in the mornings, hikes, networking, visits to local projects, workshops about sustainability, circular economy, and zero waste (with special guests).
Who is hosting it?
The workation hosts include Jonatan Ortega , the owner of EcoIsleta Coliving, who knows the history and challenges of Las Palmas, Ana Milhazes, founder of Zero Waste Portugal, life coach and Yoga teacher, and J Mendes, co-founder of No Footprint Nomads and Thriving Nomads community.
