About Coliving Hurghada
redNERD Coliving-Hurghada is Egypt’s first community designed for entrepreneurs, digital nomads, remote workers, and those aspiring to become one. Guests experience an inspiring living and working space while immersing in Egyptian culture and local life. Established in May 2023, the redNERD Villa was created by travelers for travelers, shaped by global volunteers and fueled by the motto “lets create together.” The villa offers a pool area, coworking space, large community kitchen, rooftop views, and shared events that build real connections. It’s more than just a place to stay. It’s a space where you can grow personally and professionally, surrounded by a like-minded community.

redNERD Coliving was founded by Dr. Marcel-Philip Lücke. He is a forward-thinking traveler with a passion for community, culture, and connection – besides science and other pretty nerdy topics. Inspired by his experiences around the world, he transformed the Villa together with Volunteers from all over the world into a new HOME for a global, liked-minded community of ambitious and curious individuals. A home for remote workers, entrepreneurs and digital Nomads.

I stayed for two months in this newly renovated villa, and I had a very relaxing and productive.
Sadly there weren't many other co-livers at the time due to it being so new.
Marcel made everything possible to accommodate and make my stay as pleasant as possible, he knows the area very well and can recommend activities and places to see.

- How do I do groceries?
- The next supermarket is only 5min away by foot.
- What are the coworking opening hours?
- The CoWorking space is always available and open.
- What is the policy on pets? Are there any restrictions, fees or rules?
- Own pets not allowed. I have here 2 cats and one rabbit for those wo will miss their pets.
- How do I get there?
- The Villa is only 20min away from the airport. We are more than happy to welcome you at the airport and to organise a free transfer for you.
- What is included?
- Wi-Fi (MASH) CoWorking Space with Screens. Room Cleaning 1/week Tee/Coffee kitchen essentials and spices
- Why did you decide to open?
- I wanted to create a platform for people from all over the world, to experience community, to work and explore the beauty of Egypt and its culture. Come and join us! - "Lets create together".
- How do you manage the community?
- I try my best to always have 2 volunteers who will take care of the activities and the space itself. We have on monday/wednesday/friday traditional Egyptian lunch (not included) made by our cleaning lady. We have 1/week family-Dinner/BBQ and meetings to discuss ideas, opportunities & trips such as Dessert-Tour, Diving, snorkling, Fishmarket, Marina, Luxor & more. There will be a WhatsApp Group for the internal communication.
